This statistic shows the answers on a survey question on the total value of cash money, debit card, credit card or other card payment transactions in street retail (such as market stalls or fairs) in the Netherlands in 2012, 2014 and 2017 (in billion euros). Debit cards were widely used, with one billion euros worth in transactions being mentioned in 2017. This was almost approximately the same amount reached with cash money.
