Number of tourists in Krakow 2010-2021

In 2019, Kraków saw a record number of tourists, reaching an impressive 14.05 million. The increase in the number of visitors to Kraków is mainly due to the dynamic development of flight connections and improving Poland's road and rail conditions, enhancing the mobility of Polish residents. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the number of tourists in the city dropped to roughly 9.2 million. It is estimated that in 2021, Krakow will visit 11.3 million tourists.

Germans spent over five billion zloty in Poland, and the average length of stay of incoming tourists was 6.2 nights in 2019.
