This statistic displays respondents familiarity with mobile payment methods in Germany in 2017. Overall, respondents were unlikely to either know or use mobile payment methods. Only six percent of respondents said they were familiar with and use non in-store mobile payment methods for ordering or paying online.

*The source adds the following information: "In terms of methodology, the 2017 study is made up of two parts; a computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI) in which respondents are asked to give a self-assessment of their payment habits, and a payments diary to be completed by the participants themselves in the seven days following the interview.6 In total, 2,106 individuals filled out the questionnaire and 2,061 individuals completed the diary in full."
