This statistic shows the leading reasons why real estate investors were attracted to certain markets in the Americas in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, almost half of the investors surveyed said that they were attracted to their preferred market because strong economic fundamentals were driving rental value growth there, up from only 18 percent in 2017.
