This statistic illustrates the answers to a survey question on the relevance of big data among SMEs in the Netherlands in 2018, by company size. As of 2018, 40 percent of the larger SMEs with 50 to 249 employees indicated that big data is (totally) not relevant, whereas approximately 30 percent of the same sized SMEs mentioned big data is (very) relevant for their company. SMEs with 10 to 19 employees find big data not so relevant with 75 percent.
