England: female memberships declared by the Royal Yachting Association 2019 by region
The statistic displays the results of a survey on the share of female memberships declared by Royal Yachting Association (RYA) clubs in England in 2019, by region. In 2019, it was found that 40 percent of the members of RYA clubs in the South region of England were female. RYA is the national body for all forms of boating, including dinghy and yacht racing, motor and sail cruising, sports boats, powerboat racing, windsurfing, canal and river boat cruising and personal watercraft in the UK.
