This statistic depicts the result of a survey conducted among municipalities about the state of art of installation of low-power wide area networks in Italy in 2016. As of survey period, only seven percent of the municipalities involved in the survey declared that in their city LPWAN had already been installed, whereas in ten percent of the cases the setting up was planned for 2017.
