Total equity of Volksbank N.V. 2013-2019

This statistic shows the total equity of Volksbank N.V. from 2013 to 2019 (in million euros). De Volksbank is a bank holding company in the Netherlands which emerged from a merger of the four brands ASN Bank, BLG Wonen, RegioBank and SNS in 2017. De Volksbank as a brand does not exist in the Netherlands. Instead, the parent company still uses the four brands. In 2019, the equity held by Volksbank reached a total of approximately 3.4 billion euros. This is a decrease compared to the number reached in the previous year.

In the Netherlands, a few large institutions dominate its financial markets. In 2017, for example, the five largest Dutch credit institutions, which includes ING, Rabobank and ABN AMRO, held approximately 84 percent of the total assets. Secondly, the Dutch banking sector is one of the most concentrated in Europe.
