Perceptions on the health care system in Peru 2024
According to a survey conducted in Peru in 2024, only a third of respondents said they trusted their country's health care system to provide the best health treatment. Moreover, 76 percent of interviewees stated that they believe many people cannot afford good health care in Peru and 74 percent reported that waiting times to get an appointment with doctors are too long. According to the same survey, around 16 percent of respondents believed that the quality of the Peruvian health care system is either good or very good.
