In 2019, around 48 percent of Chinese green bond had been issued on the China Interbank Bond Market. In total 78 percent of bonds had been issued onshore and 22 percent offshore. The most popular offshore market was the Hong Kong exchange as around 53 percent of all offshore green bonds from China had been traded there.
