In 2022, the average expenditure on cancer drugs in Italy was equal to 74.05 euros per capita. This figure, however, varied considerably across regions. Umbria and Marche were the two regions recording the highest expenditure, with roughly 89.8 euros and 87.2 per inhabitant, respectively.
