In 2023, the average expenditure on cancer drugs in Italy was equal to 81 euros per capita. This figure, however, varied considerably across regions. Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Umbria were the two regions recording the highest expenditure, with roughly 97.2 euros and 96 per inhabitant, respectively.
