The annual value of merger and acquisition (M&A) deals in Eastern Europe increased significantly in recent years, peaking at 625 billion U.S. dollars in 2021. During the first five months of 2024, M&A transactions in Eastern Europe amounted to 115 billion U.S. dollars.
