Number of Central and Eastern European migrant workers in the Netherlands 2016

The statistic displays the number of Central and Eastern European migrant workers in the Netherlands in 2016, by sector. Overall, as of 2016 there were over half a million Central and Eastern European migrant workers in the Netherlands, according to CBS data. Of those workers, over 340 thousand Central and Eastern European migrant workers were employed in employment agencies, temping agencies and personnel management. The number of migrant workers employed in the agricultural sector was also high, at approximately 48 thousand, while the number of migrant workers employed in computer and consumer item repair in 2016 was lowest at just 150 workers.
