In 2021, the demand for room air conditioning devices in the United Arab Emirates amounted to approximately 375 thousand units, the lowest number of the past decade. Within the observed period, demand for this type of air conditioning made a significant jump in 2013 and further increased to its highest point of around 594 thousand units in 2015. In the following years, a new downward trend began which was only interrupted by an exceptional drop in 2019 to less than 250 thousand units, but otherwise continues steadily at a predictable pace.
