This statistic presents the average amount of money spent per month on different product types by women whilst on their period in the United Kingdom (UK) as of 2015. The figures are based on responses in a survey of women aged between 18 and 45 years who have regular periods. Women in the UK spend an average of 13 British pounds a month of sanitary products, such as pads, tampons, panty-liners and menstrual cups. Whilst on their period, women also spend approximately 21 pounds on other products, including new underwear (due to spillages), pain relief and chocolate/sweets/crisps.
