This statistic displays the average discount per price promotion article in the Netherlands in 2017, by supermarket chain. In the survey period in June and July 2017, Albert Heijn had the largest number of weekly price promotions of the supermarkets surveyed here. In an average week in this period, there were 1,150 promotions in Albert Heijn supermarkets. On average, these products were offered with a discount of 34 percent. This was nearly ten percent more as the average discount on Jumbo price promotion articles, which was only 25 percent.
