Top barriers of sustainable investments for retail investors globally 2022
As of 2022, roughly half of the investors surveyed stated the lack of transparency and available data on the impact of sustainable investments was the main factor preventing the increase of holdings in sustainability focused securities. While the level of reporting on sustainable development goals has increased in recent years this is still not a practice implemented by all firms.
