This statistic presents the results of a survey in which recently married individuals in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked whether they were able to stick to their budget during wedding planning as of 2018. The largest share of respondents (39 percent) said they went over budget when planning their wedding. Just over a quarter of those surveyed claimed that they had no wedding budget and the same proportion said they were on budget. Only five percent of respondents went under budget during their wedding planning.
