According to a survey on people's wish to receive less refugees in Sweden from 2009 to 2019, people with a low education were the most critical towards this topic. In contrast, Swedes with a high education were the least critical concerning refugees in their country. However, since 2015, shares in both educational groups increased. In 2019, the share peaked at 47 percent of high educated people and 72 percent of low educated people wishing that Sweden would receive less refugees.

The original question was phrased by the source as follows: "Vilken är din åsikt om följande förslag? Ta emot färre flyktingar."
The different educational levels refer to the following:
Low education: no completion of compulsory school; primary school or equivalent;
Average education: gymnasium/high school completed but no university studies or graduation from university;
High education: university studies or graduation from university.
The percentage refers to the combined share of respondents stating to be "very good proposal (1)" and "rather good proposal (2)". The share answering to be "neutral (3)", "rather bad proposal (4)" and "very bad proposal (5)" is not included in this statistic.
