Between 2009 and 2019, people's trust towards the government in Sweden fluctuated but increased in general. While 35 percent of the respondents in the youngest age group trusted the government to a large extent in 2009, 32 percent could say the same in 2019. During the period under consideration, Swedes exhibited the greatest trust in 2010. As of 2019, 36 percent of people between 30 and 49 years had very or rather large trust in the Swedish government.
