Between 2009 and 2019, the share of people who were members of political parties in Sweden fluctuated regardless of their educational level. Generally, people with a higher education were the most inclined to be involved in party politics, peaking in 2014 at nine percent. Furthermore, people with a low education were the second most reluctant to being members of a political party, reaching eight percent in 2009. During the time under consideration, seven percent was the highest measured share for people with an average educational level. As of 2019, seven percent of people with a high education had joined a political party.
