This statistic presents teen smartphone users' attitudes towards their phone in the United States as of April 2018. According to the findings, 60 percent of respondents reported that many of their teenage friends are addicted to their phones, while an additional 58 percent stated that there is an expectation among their friends and colleagues that they must respond immediately to any notification received on their smartphone.
