Age at which Danes began regular smoking 2018
This statistic shows the result of a survey on the age at which Danes began regular smoking in 2018. The largest share, or 47.3 percent of Danish smokers stated to have started with regular smoking at the age of 13 to 16 years. 17 to 20 years was the second most common entry age, with a share of 27.3 percent of respondents. To start smoking at a higher age, such as 25 years and older, was rather uncommon, with a percentage of 4.8 of surveyed smokers.
