This statistic presents the result of a survey on types of holiday accommodation preferred by travelers from Sweden in 2017. That year, the largest share, or 59 percent of respondents, stated to preferably stay in a hotel when traveling. Eight percent of surveyed people from Sweden usually stayed in a rented room, flat or house, while seven percent answered that hostels would be their favorite holiday accommodation.
