This statistic illustrates the total number of payment cards in Latvia from the second half of 2014 to the second half of 2017, by card type. As can be seen the use of delayed debit cards have become less prevalent, decreasing from nearly 419 thousand in the second half of 2016 to 21.2 thousand as of the first half of 2017. The number of cards with a debit function increased during the same time period with some fluctuation.
