The statistic illustrates the share of individuals use of different payment methods in the Germany in the month previous to April 2018. It can be seen that the majority (60 percent) of respondents claimed that they had used a digital wallet as a payment method in the previous month. This was followed by 29 percent of respondents who stated that they had paid by invoice in a payment transaction in the previous month, whilst only three percent of respondents reported that they had used biometrics during a payment transaction in 2018.
