This statistic shows the sales performance of businesses with cross border sales in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland (UK) from the fourth quarter of 2016 to the third quarter of 2019. The results are based on a surveys of businesses on an all-island basis, taking place during or after the end of each quarter.
Over the time frame observed, responses by businesses fluctuated. In the third quarter of 2019, 55 percent of respondents stated that their businesses performance had stayed the same, while 14 percent said it had decreased.
