This statistic presents the security technologies that will increase in importance over the next three years according to senior information technology practitioners worldwide as of 2017. According to the findings, 31 percent of respondents stated as of now artificial intelligence implemented within their cyber defense network was of the highest importance within their organization's cyber security system. When asked it's continuing importance in the coming future, there was a 40 percentage point increase in responses, with 71 percent of respondents stating its vital importance within a cyber defense network.

The figure shows the technologies that were rated in importance today and those rated high in importance in the coming three years. Figures were rounded.
