Runway of female-founded startups worldwide 2020
Startup runway is the amount of time a company can continue to operate before running out of money, and many female founders only had one to six months of runway during 2020. Just over 30 percent of female founders surveyed said that their company had enough capital to operate for four to six months. Venture capital funding for female-founded startups in the U.S. declined in 2020, marking the first such decrease in recent years.
