This statistic illustrates the total share of payment methods in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2018. It can be seen that the majority of payments in the UK (52 percent) were carried out using cards. This was followed by the e-wallets with 27 percent. Only four percent of payment transactions in the UK were carried out with a bank transfer.
