Number of heart disease deaths in Canada 2000-2022

It was estimated that in the fiscal year 2021-2022, there were 120,315 deaths in Canada from ischemic heart disease among those aged 20 years and older. Furthermore, there were 46,670 deaths from acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack.
