The number of international air arrivals on the Ionian Islands increased sharply in 2023 over the previous year, also surpassing the figures reported before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2023, Corfu reported the highest figure among the selected destinations, with over 1.8 million inbound air arrivals.
