Value shares correspond to the total U.S. hemp products sales value of 688 million U.S. dollars in 2016.
The reported retail value of the U.S. hemp market is an estimate based on SPINS survey data, which tracks data and market trends on natural product industry sales. SPINS data do not track retail sales for Whole Foods Market, Costco, and other retail outlets that market hemp-based products, and the reported data has been adjusted upward to account for these gaps.
