This statistic shows the share of residential property inventory made up of starter, trade-up and premium homes in the United States from Q1 2016 to Q1 2019. In the first quarter of 2019, starter homes accounted for 23.7 percent of total residential property inventory in the United States, up from 22.9 percent a year before.
