Number of LinkedIn users in the Netherlands 2013-2023

The number of LinkedIn users in the Netherlands has remained stable at approximately five million people since 2021. Among Millennials, LinkedIn was among the more popular social media platforms in the country.

LinkedIn had the highest reach on smartphone

LinkedIn had an online reach (the percentage of visitors that visited specific content at least once during a certain period) of 27.2 percent in the Netherlands in January 2019. This is a decrease when compared to the same period one year before. The highest reach was on smartphone: 16.2 percent or roughly 2.6 million devices.

Fake news on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn was considered an untrustworthy source of information in the Netherlands. Approximately eight percent of survey participants thought that LinkedIn posts were trustworthy, whereas 40 percent distrusted them. Compared to other social media, however, there were more respondents who had a neutral viewpoint or no opinion at all.
