Textiles, clothing & shoes: retail sales turnover monthly index in Turkey 2016-2023

The sales turnover of textile, clothing, footwear and leather goods in specialized stores in Turkey considerably increased from January 2016 to December 2023. However, turnover of sales had a substantial decrease between March and May 2020 during the coronavirus lockdown. After the lockdown measures eased, sales turnover values increased rapidly and reached an index value of 1636.9 as of December 2023.
