Number of venture capital funding rounds in Europe Q1 2013-Q4 2017

This statistic illustrates the total number of venture capital funding rounds in Europe from the first quarter of 2013 to the fourth quarter of 2017. During this five year period, it can be seen that the number of venture capital funding rounds generally increased with some fluctuation. In the first quarter of 2013, the number of funding rounds amounted to 407 which increased to 761 as of the fourth quarter of 2017. The highest number of VC funding rounds was seen in the fourth quarter of 2016 with 1077 rounds.
