This statistic displays the share of people in favor of gay marriage in Belgium in 2017, by religious identification. Of the general population, roughly 82 percent was in favor of gay marriage. The religiously unaffiliated participants showed the highest approval rate for gay marriage in this survey, with nearly 90 percent in favor of gay marriage. In contrast, of the church-attending Christians this was only 66 percent.
