This statistic shows the age ranges for startups in Europe as of 2016. Startups that were two years old had the highest proportion, at 26.4 percent. There is a decline in the percentage of startups that are older than two years old in almost every age range thereafter, with 22.2 percent of startups aged three years old compared to only 1.3 percent that are nine years old. There is a slight increase of 0.1 percent in startups that are ten years old, numbering 1.4 percent of all startups in Europe.
