Virtual desktop penetration in the Netherlands 2014-2017
This statistic shows the penetration rate of desktop virtualization in the Netherlands from September 2014 to September 2017. In the Netherlands, desktop virtualization has increased to approximately 24 percent of the respondents. The biggest increase increase was seen among public institutions and businesses within the financial sector. VMware was mostly used among institutions in the public sector, with Microsoft seeing use mainly among medium-sized enterprises (50-250 employees).
