This statistic depicts the use of information and communication technologies in healthcare facilities in Brazil by method to input information in medical records, as of 2013. It is broken down into the methods totally electronic records, partially on paper and partially electronic records and totally on paper records divided by the type of facility and the total. Only five percent of diagnosis and therapy facilities had patient information totally on paper records, whereas up to 45 percent of inpatient (up to 50 beds) facilities had information totally on paper records.
