The statistic displays the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands from 2014 to 2017, by location. In this period, the top cities with the highest concentration of fastest-growing companies combined accounted for over one third of the top 250 fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands. Of the top five locations of the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands, Amsterdam had the highest share, with roughly 15 percent, whereas Eindhoven had just below two and a half percent.

Supplementary notes
A company is considered a scale-up when it has an annual turnover growth and/or employment numbers (in FTE) of at least 20 percent in the period between 2014 and 2017. Next to that, a company is required to have a turnover of at least five million euros or ten FTE employees at the beginning of the three-year period considered. To be included in the list, the headquarters of the organization have to be located in the Netherlands, and the annual growth has to be an organic growth mainly.
