Opinions on most attractive Italian enotourism regions 2021, by tourism type
According to a survey conducted among wine tourism professionals in Italy, Tuscany was the most attractive Italian region for wine tourism as of April 2021. More than half of respondents believed that the mentioned travel destination was the preferred region for Italian domestic enotourists. Meanwhile, six in ten survey participants chose Tuscany as the leading wine area for international visitors. Based on the survey results of that year, Piedmont was the second-most attractive enotourism destination in the European country.
