As of the third quarter 2019, paper based credit transfers still lead as a more valued method compared to electronic transfers for businesses in Albania. Paper transfers amounted to over two trillion Albanian lek compared to all electronic transfers, which amounted to just over 700 billion Albanian lek in the same time period.
