Breakdown of hotel real estate investments in Germany 2022-2023, by deal size

The share of large investments exceeding 100 million euros in the hotel real estate market in Germany grew notably in 2023. Close to 48 percent of capital allocated to hotel real estate fell in this size class. Meanwhile, deals between 25 and 50 million euros declined three-fold during the same period.
