According to data published by Deloitte, the majority of respondents who took part in the survey rarely or never use their mobile phone when eating in a restaurant with family or friends. Roughly 25 percent of respondents never use their mobile phone during restaurant meals with family and friends, whereas about a fifth of respondents sometimes did so.
