Its revenue increased constantly in recent years, peaking in the financial year starting on September 1, 2023 and ending on August 31, 2024, at roughly 41.4 billion Danish kroner.
Denmark’s leading online furniture stores
In Denmark, ikea.com was the leading online furniture store, based on e-commerce net sales. The global retail chain generated roughly 97 million U.S. dollars in 2023. Second in the ranking was jysk.dk, while myhomemøbler.dk ranked third.
Norway’s leading furniture companies
In 2024, according to the latest available financial statements, the furniture retailer IKEA AS was leading among furniture companies in Norway. Its revenue reached approximately 8.5 billion Norwegian kroner. By comparison: the revenue of Ekornes AS, which ranked second, was almost three times lower.
