Ranking of furniture companies in Sweden 2021, by turnover

As of December 2021, JYSK AB led the ranking of furniture companies in Sweden, measured by revenue. It amounted to nearly 4.5 billion Swedish kronor and was followed by Ellos AB and Ingka Services AB. JYSK AB is part of the Danish JYSK Group, which is a furniture and furniture accessories retail chain. Its revenue increased constantly in recent years, peaking in the financial year starting on September 1, 2019 and ending on August 31, 2020, at roughly 30 billion Danish kroner.    

 Denmark’s leading furniture companies 

In Denmark, JYSK Holding A/S was also the leading furniture company, based on revenue. The global retail chain generated roughly 18.2 billion Danish kroner in 2018. Second in the ranking was IKEA A/S, while Nobia Denmark A/S ranked third.

 Norway’s leading furniture companies

As of October 2019, according to the latest available financial statements, the furniture retailer IKEA AS was leading among furniture companies in Norway. Its revenue reached approximately 7.9 billion Norwegian kroner. By comparison: the revenue of JYSK AS, which ranked second, was around four times lower.
