Air conditioning demand worldwide in 2012-2022, by region

In 2022, the demand for air conditioners in China was higher than in any other region. That same year, North America and other Asian countries excluding China and Japan demanded more than 20 million units. The demand for such devices in Europe reached a new high point of 9.5 million units representing an increase in the previous year. In general, the demand for air conditioners has remained stable in most regions.
