The statistic displays the results of a survey regarding the share of women on boards of directors in the Netherlands in 2019, by sector. As of 2019, the business services sector had the highest share of women on boards of directors in the Netherlands. Almost 16 percent of members of boards of directors in this sector were women, whereas across all other sectors the percentage of women on boards of directors were 12 percent or lower. Women were least represented within the transport, information and communication sector, where just over 11.5 percent of members of boards of directors were women.
