Individuals use of bank cards in Russia 2008-2016, by type
This survey illustrates the share of individuals use of bank cards in Russia from 2008 to 2016. It can be seen that the share of individuals who used bank cards increased during the period observed. In 2016, the share of individuals using pension cards increased to 63 percent. In 2008, the share of individuals using a debit card was four percent, by 2016 this had increased to 31 percent.
